CPF Bonus Calculator
Calculate CPF on your bonus and check the remaining Additional Wage ceiling for the year.
Same OW applied to all 12 months.
AW already paid earlier in the year.
What This Result Means
A bonus is usually an Additional Wage. CPF applies only up to your remaining annual Additional Wage ceiling, which depends on Ordinary Wages subject to CPF for the year.
Assumptions and Limitations
- •Bonuses are treated as Additional Wages when not granted wholly and exclusively for a single month.
- •The AW ceiling for 2026 is $102,000 minus Ordinary Wages subject to CPF for the year.
- •The tool combines OW and AW for the payment month before applying contribution and rounding rules.
- •CPF treatment and income tax treatment are different. This tool does not calculate tax on the bonus.
How We Calculate This
We calculate the annual OW subject to CPF by simulating each month with the OW ceiling applied. The AW ceiling is $102,000 minus this annual OW figure. Prior AW already using the ceiling is subtracted to find the remaining ceiling. The bonus is then split into the portion subject to CPF and the portion outside the ceiling.
